With its distinctive peninsula in the heart of the Docklands, and direct connection to the CBD via Collins Street, the Victoria Harbour precinct comprises a vibrant mix of residential, office, retail and community open space set along 2.5 kilometres of water frontage.
Victoria Harbour has 30 hectares of space with spectacular promenade and welcoming parklands. The Merchant Street retail precinct comprises a shopping strip boasting a selection of cafes, restaurants, boutique shops and convenience stores, including a full line Safeway supermarket.
Collins Street now extends into Victoria Harbour, bringing an extension to the tram line with it. Further down the track, history will be made when Collins and Bourke Streets intersect, assisting Docklands to become a natural extension of the established CBD.
Victoria Harbour is also home to Dockland's first purpose-built community infrastructure project. The Harbour Family and Children's Centre includes a 150 place childcare centre operated by Gowrie Victoria and consulting rooms for a Maternal and Child Health service and other early childhood services.
The headquarters of two of Australia's largest banks, ANZ and NAB, are located at Victoria Harbour along with a number of other major businesses calling, or planning to call Victoria Harbour home. These include Lend Lease, Fujitsu, Ericcson, Infosys, Myer and Lurcf Super.
Victoria Harbour Marina, operated by d'Albora Marinas comprises a mix of public and private berths. As the precinct continues to develop, more boating facilities are anticipated.
